Warwick Rowers message to Trump, Pence and world leaders

It has been a difficult year for human rights. Many regions of the world, including Russia, Turkey and the regions of Africa and the Middle East, seem to be going backwards, especially if you are a woman or LGBT. The Brexit vote in the UK has increased with intolerance and hostility, including a 147 percent increase in homophobic attacks. Donald Trump's election in the United States is believed to have the same effect, and his new group includes a Vice President who has consistently voted against LGBT rights and a woman's right to choose. Warwick Rowers is a group of young athletes who are straight but refuse to give their policies on the basis of their gender or sexuality. Here, they appeal to the new US administration and to all the world's leaders who support equality and human rights for everyone.
