Following a massive fight between Polish, Bulgarian and Dutch hooligans in the center of Bratislava, the Slovak police arrested 107 people in the night from Thursday to Thursday. According to the police, groups of rival supporters met Wednesday night outside the police-controlled areas and immediately attacked them.
Amateur videos published in the Slovak media showed how hooligans in the pedestrian area were throwing tables, chairs and glasses and setting fire to fireworks. The popular with tourists and lined with gastronomic places, the Venturgasse looked like a battlefield. According to police reports, nine people involved in the fight had to be treated at the hospital, and dozens of others were treated on the spot by paramedics.
