On Föhr and Amrum: the singers of the queen

The internationally renowned ensemble "The Queen's Six" of Windsor Castle completes its grand summer tour across Germany on the North Sea Islands. When the royal couple Harry and Meghan performed in front of the St. George Chapel of Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018, Dan, Tim, Nic and Dom, as well as Andrew and Simon, were also very close – as "lay clerks". "Royal Windsor – Then and Now" is the name of the program in which "The Queen's Six" sings compositions that have been dedicated over the centuries to the Royal Family and Windsor Castle, especially the Holy Chapel -George. From the works of King Henry VIII and pieces in honor of Elizabeth I to the songs and compositions that sounded at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, through the arrangements of folk, jazz and Pop's current members of St. George -Chapel-Choir has a diverse range – including hits from Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Ben E. The ensemble will perform on Friday, August 2 at 8 pm at Norddorfer Gemeindehaus and on Sunday August 4 at 8 pm also at St. Nicolai Church of Boldixum.
