This weekend, the second day of the Bundesliga is on the rise. The match will pit FC Schalke 04 against reigning champions Bayern Munich. In our "Football Inside" podcast, we discuss clubs in the Ruhr region. But this time, there is also another subject: we are discussing the results of the LDF General Assembly in Berlin on Wednesday.
The General Assembly has made it clear that the interests of big and small clubs are too different. The heart of the current conflict: the LDF commercialises broadcasting rights in a centralized way, the key of distribution is decided in the presidium. And the smaller clubs want a bigger piece of the pie. "In recent years, the gap between the first and the eighteenth in the two Bundesligenes is still widened," said a club representative on the sidelines of the protest.

But we are also discussing the next day: On Friday, the league leaders, Borussia Dortmund, goes to promoted 1. FC Cologne, Schalke receives Saturday Bayern.
