Friday, January 25, 2019, around 1 pm A dam collapsed at the Feijão iron mine, releasing a stream of mud leaving at least 300 people missing in Brumadinho, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The dam near the Feijão iron mine erupted on Friday at approximately 13:00 local time (15:00 GMT), flooding another dam, the mud stream crossing the entire dam, nearby farms and neighborhood. where many workers live, destroying houses and vehicles.

Dozens of people trapped, many covered with mud, had to be evacuated by helicopter, roads being destroyed, many other residents were evacuated for safety, said state governor, Romeu Zema, unlikely to find life nine people were confirmed dead.
