The situation already seen at the beginning of the week is repeated again this Thursday, March 26. In the north of the country, the weather will be dry, high pressure and sunny. However, in the morning, in Burgundy and Franche-Comté, the clouds will be numerous but harmless, the sun will finally prevail in the afternoon. It will be much cloudier in the southern half. Temporary showers will occur in Occitania, south of Limousin and Auvergne. These showers will be more frequent in Languedoc-Roussillon. It will snow from 400 m in the morning on Aveyron, Cantal and Languedoc, then the rain-snow limit will quickly rise to 800 m. We will expect a good amount of snow, not far from 10 cm on the Cévennes around 600 m. On the Pyrenees, snow will fall around 1000 m. On the Pyrénées-Orientales, a new snowfall will be expected around 600/700 m, fading in the afternoon.
Over the extreme Southeast, over the border Alps, the sky will be overcast with scattered rain in the evening and overnight in the form of snow around 800 m. On the Isle of Beauty, after a rainy night's end on Haute-Corse, with snow from 400/500 m, the showers will become scattered. The flakes will fall in the morning around 500 m then around 1000 m at the end of the day. In the evening and following night, the rainy weather will reactivate with continuous precipitation, especially on the north of the island, the rain-snow limit staying around 1000 m.
Temperatures will be low in the morning for the season throughout France with frosts in places over the northern half, almost generalized in the Grand Est, Auvergne and the Cévennes from 0 to – 4 degrees. It is, elsewhere, between 0 and + 4 degrees up to 5/6 on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coast. It will be afternoon between 8 and 12 degrees north and 12 to 14 south.
